WWE Inks Exclusive Trading Card Partnership With Panini



WWE has announced a deal with Panini, which will become its exclusive trading card and collectible sticker partner. As part of the deal, WWE will roll out multiple trading card products at big-box retailers Walmart and Target

in addition to hobby stores nationwide and online. Debuting in the first quarter of 2022, the partnership is set to coincide with WrestleMania season when WWE returns to AT&T Stadium for WrestleMania 38 in Texas.

“We have always been intrigued by WWE as a license partner and their fans’ incredible passion,” said Panini America CEO Mark Warsop in a press release.

“Our entire team is looking forward to adding WWE, a truly iconic license, to our roster of exclusive partners. We have big plans for our WWE portfolio and the new heights we can help WWE trading cards and stickers reach in the collectibles arena.”

A titan of the collectibles industry, Panini is the world leader in officially licensed collectibles with a history that dates back 60 years. The Panini Group has official licenses with every major sporting league including the NFL, NBA and UFC, in addition to entertainment companies such as Disney


With worldwide distribution, Panini will facilitate WWE’s ongoing investment in the collectibles and memorabilia industry. Earlier this year, WWE announced its first-ever NFT drop ahead of WrestleMania 37 in conjunction with Bitski. Legendary WWE Superstar The Undertaker was honored as part of the rollout. More recently, WWE auctioned off a commemorative Vince McMahon billion-dollar bill during SummerSlam weekend.

WWE’s latest sports memorabilia partnership with the venerable Panini brand sets the promotion up to grow its exclusive collectibles on a global scale as Panini has distribution channels in more than 150 different countries.
